CI-SidingRail: Engineered Rain Screen Solution for Lap and Sheet Siding

KNIGHT WALL’S CI-SIDINGRAIL™ SYSTEM IS THE IDEAL SOLUTION FOR NEW CONSTRUCTION AND RENOVATION PROJECTS TO EASILY MEET ENERGY CODES AND CONTROL MOISTURE.

The CI-SidingRail™ System enables the use of engineered wood, fiber-cement or vinyl lap siding and roll formed metal siding. CI-SidingRail features the industry’s only ASHRAE compliant continuous insulation solution with fastener thermal isolation and a ¾-inch rain screen cavity. The system is constructed of high corrosive-resistant 18 gauge Galvalume® coated steel.

The CI-SidingRail rain screen system is primarily for use in conjunction with horizontal oriented siding. The system may also be used in conjunction with the horizontal PanelRail when the pre-threaded holes of the CI-Girt don’t meet panel layout specifications. TEK screws are required to connect horizontal rails to any location on the CI-SidingRail. The systems are comprised of continuous vertical members (2" fastening face,) for attaching various claddings. CI-SidingRail may be used in conjunction with (but not limited to):
