PanelTek™: Rain Screen Frame for Increased Cladding Versatility

PANELTEK ACCOMMODATES FACE FASTENED CLADDING PANELS UP TO 4’x8’. WITH LARGER ANCHORING SURFACES, TWO PANELS CAN BE JOINED ON ONE TRACK.

The versatile PanelTek system features a continuous ¾-inch rain screen cavity and enables the efficient and effective use of exterior insulation. PanelTek is a full featured, “drop-in solution” system that is available in both self-leveling and true continuous insulation variations: SL-PanelTek or CI-PanelTek. PanelTek accommodates a variety of cladding options, and is a must for vertically oriented siding (i.e. roll formed metal sheets, etc.) and exposed fastener, or face-fastened, panels or siding systems. Versatility defined.

The PanelTek™ rain screen system (in both variations) is designed to be used with a myriad of cladding options. The systems are comprised of continuous horizontal members (featuring a 3" fastening face) attaching to continuous vertical members that may be attached to the substrate in either a self-leveling or continous insulation fashion. PanelTek may be used in conjunction with:

¤ Knight Series Terra-Cotta
¤ Roll Formed (corrugated) Metal Siding
¤ Exposed Fastener/Open Joint ACM Panels
¤ Exposed Fastener Cement Composite Panels
¤ Exposed Fastener Phenolic Panels
¤ Cement Board (i.e. Permabase®) with finishes ranging from acrylic stucco to natural aggregate set in acrylic binders
